Modern Industrial Traditional Kitchen!

I just love the details in this restaurant style kitchen renovation. It's traditional, modern, sculptural, and industrial without being too much of any of them. I'm seeing carrera marble being used a lot in the kitchens lately and although it's not the most practical material for the countertop, I will say it is gorgeous!

The way the double ovens are built into the wall is just gorgeous. And look at the details on that big butcher block island!

It's all about the details! Love how the carrera follows the line of the shelves!
It's just like sitting in your favorite cafe. No bring in the chef!

Inspired by Nature!

Today I am sharing with you some inspiration boards I put together for a client in Los Angeles. They are expecting their 3rd child in August, they own a showroom in West Hollywood, and their favorite place to be is their home. They are located high up in the Hills have an incredible view overlooking the canyon, a gorgeous yard, and this is their escape from all the hustle and bustle of the city and their everyday lives. Their home should be their sanctuary and a place for them to relax and enjoy time with their beautiful family. The outdoors is such an amazing part of their space so we wanted to bring those organic elements inside to create a seamless connection of the two. Playful pops of color, fumed white oak flooring, light walls, natural walnut, and a neutral pallette of grays, whites, greens, and camel will keep this space open and alive!

CaBoom Products 3

See Materials (aka Scavolini) had some amazing products at their booth. The porcelain and ceramics tiles were stunning and some of the prices were unheard of! They carry wide plank hardwood flooring from a company called Dekora Parket. The finishes are gorgeous and the planks come as large as 12" W x 86" L! Also, I searched their site to find some great shots of IDEA Group, the bathroom furniture line they carry. I fell in love with these bathroom vanities!

Love the furniture like style and the turned legs of the Deko line. I'm going crazy over that gingham wall!

Deko can even be ordered as a desk...fabulous!

Gotta love the chartreuse!

The clean soft curves of Seventy are stunning!

Great lacquer colors!

So many amazing finishes on these floors from Dekora Parket, it would be hard to choose just one!

I'm loving all these black tiles from Iris Ceramica!

Turpan Bianco (also comes in black!)

Stop by the showroom in West Hollywood to check out more great products on display as well as the Scavolini Kitchens.

Libby Sellers: Young London meets Paris

Oh, how I love the New York Times Style Magazine. Thank you so much for this article and these wonderful photographs by Adrian Gaut. Chunnel Vision owned by Libby Sellers and designed by architect Ab Rogers have turned an old Parisian apartment into a gallery of the artists it represents. I love the amazing pieces and artists Libby Sellers has curated. The mix of styles is fabulous. My favorite has to be the kitchen which flows through the space and on it's way the color gradiates from white to blue to gray. Chunnel=channel + tunnel and is a great way for these two opposites to attract! London meet Paris. And you all meet Libby Sellers and the fabulous artists she represents!

WHERE DO I GET THIS CHAIR??

I love this room and the wonderful yard. That gray chair is gorgeous. Do you see that webbing detail on the back? How fabulous is that?!
