I came across the Delfin + Postigo house over at Yatzer and am just amazed by it! When designing my goal is to "tell the story of each client through design". This home is the perfect example. It is so honest and true. Some may find this home offensive, but it truly captures the spirit and the character of the owners and I love that!
"Everything that these words entail, describe and symbolize is the essence of this residence in Madrid were the Spanish duo, fashion designer David Delfin and photographer Gorka Postigo reside. The marriage of these two individuals under one roof is the epitome of sexual elegance. David Delfin is famous for designing garments which extenuate the body giving femininity and sex -appeal for his fashion brand davidelfin. Gorka Postigo is an architect (AKAstudio) turned photographer whose work is expressed through the exploration of nudity and emotions through the human existence." -Yatzer

Madeline Weinrib Atelier--WOW!

I've spent hours looking through the Madeline Weinrib Atelier site and am going crazy over all of her fabulous prints! Check out this collection of pillows, and this is only 6 of her endless possibilities! Alot of the fabric are handmade in Uzbekistan while some of these pillows are made with vinatage scarves. Sooo beautiful!

What unique and gorgeous chairs! These are reupholstered in her line of fabrics which can be ordered by the yard (through the trade). My favorite is the Blue Mu on the second chair. That fabric just looks so adorable on that chair. Check out the entire furniture line here.
Madeline Weinrib Atelier also has an extensive collections of carpets in some vibrant colors and gorgeous patterns!

A Little Trip!

How stunning are these shots from the amazing Ngoc Minh Ngo?! She was born in Vietnam, studied in Berkley, CA and Florence, Italy and currently lives in New York. I think her work is a testament to her travels and these images capture a bit of it all!

Since I was little I always wanted a house with black walls. She did a great job of make this space look bright!
Crazy, but soooo fun!

black, golds, and white...and that tufting!

the black gold and white so clean and crisp.

Oversized decorative pillows on the bed is a perfect solution to those that love white comforters!
what great natural light in this space!

THAT SOFA IS AMAZING!

This lovely photo by Birgitta Wolfgang Drejer of the living room of fashion designer Vanessa Bruno has been a favorite of many. Just yesterday Holly at Decor8 posted this as her favorite room. I've been wondering, and I'm sure many others are wondering, where do I get that sofa?! I swear to you...just yesterday before Holly posted this I was searching for this sofa or something similar to this at Floor-Model where I found beautiful things, but not the exact sofa.

Well I found the actual source here along with some other beautiful things! This is the Poeten Sofa designed by Finn Juhl. I also love the "45" Chair as well as the "Chieftans" Chair. Such a sculptural quality of these pieces.
