Gorgeous Violet Kitchen

I've been feeling a bit sensitive today...maybe it's because I'm tired, maybe because I'm content, I'm not sure, but I am just happy to be feeling. I came across these kitchens and could just imagine myself in this space today. If my mood was a kitchen this is what it would look like:-)

A Barcelona Beauty

How could you even possibly think of passing up such a beautiful historical apartment in Barcelona. Well when you have a baby on the way and there's a possibility of being evicted due to redevelopment you might question it! Well question it they did, but Cecilia Tham and Yoel Karaso of Habitan Architects fell in love with the original ornate molding and stunning tile work and they figured out how to make it work. The design of the kitchen and bathroom were created more furniture like and not fitted into any walls, so in case this upheaval happened, they would be able to take all their valuable elements with them. Such a genius idea!

I bet the acoustics in this place are crazy! Look at the height of those doors and that gorgeous ceiling...WOW!
A bathtub and sink combo how incredible is this!

Oh my goodness! I am obsessed with that tile! And those light filled windows with the blue shutters are incredible! I hope they never have to leave!

I love all these raw elements and I'm going to say it one last time...I'm obssessed with the tile:-)

A LITTLE COMIC RELIEF!

Oh my god, how fabulous are these concept renderings! I'm tired of renderings that look so real you can't decide if it's an actual thing or not. I know they are perfect for an end product, but how funky and sexy are these? Seriously my fiance just came in and peeked over my shoulder and asked, "Is that porn?" These are concept renderings for the William Beaver house...don't know if the sexy renderings have anything to do with the name, but whatever:-) The William Beaver House is designed by Hotelier Andres Balazs, who New York magazine calls, "a tastemaker for the tastemakers." PURE H.O.M.E.

I found this beautiful images from a spread over @ H.O.M.E. I cannot read the article, but the images say alot! The white floors and walls with the rustic wood ceiling create such a soothing feel. I love the mix of furnishings and chairs. The island detail and positioning is a great use of space. I can just hear that piano playing as the owners gently float through their space. Beautiful!
