What The Eye Sees.

Eye, it's like you're breaking through the most gorgeous wall, crackling the layers of paint, and transcending through me.

And I like what you see. This room is telling so many interesting stories in just one little composition. I feel like I need a guided tour. I love all these deep colors layered with the rustic textures.

So Inspired by Tiffany Porter

Finally feeling at peace after a crazy week last week! Today is a chilled out ponytail and no makeup kinda day! Just taking a quick break from designing, listening to Eclectic 24, obsessing over The Rescues, and drooling over the home of Old Hollywood's shop owner and fashion stylist Tiffany Porter.

the hat installation is crazy cool!

that mirror headboard is kinda sexy.
black doors. love black doors.
This is the color my room would be if it was up to me!

Tiffany if you ever want to beat the heat I'll do an apartment swap in Venice Beach. I have an owl collection too:-)

"OH...MY...GOD"

With each page flip of VT Wonen I swear I gasped, "OH...MY...GOD"! The gorgeous colors, patterns, and texutres in the May issue have me satisfied for the rest of Spring!
that fluorescent orange-y pink on the deep seafoam-y green...I'm dying here!!
you think those pillows will make room for me! I'd love to snuggle up with them while drinking a cucumber mint water...or maybe a cucumber martini!
hot pink...you still got it!
darling, just darling.
now isn't this serene?!
sooo cute! can you image if this was your little guest cot?! wouldn't that be the sweetest thing ever?!
oh red, you're so sexy!
I always dreamed of having a bedroom in an attic!
one day my little girl...or maybe I...am going to have a hanging swing chair AND a glam ass bathroom!
Thank you Yellowtrace for introducing me to VT Wonen.

Christine d'Ornano Interior

The London home of "cosmetic royalty" Christine d'Ornano as featured in this months Elle Decor is filled with inspiration from her parents Parisian home and minimalist elements of architect Alex Michaelis.
This living room is perfect to me! I love every detail...especially the pink walls and the modern sconces.

The 1970's abstract floral upholstered walls is definitely influenced by her family's Parisian home. I love the use of abstract floral walls against the geometric pattern floors in the master bedroom. I could move into her home today:-)

Olivia Wilde's Venice Home

I've been thinking a lot about the home of Olivia Wilde that was featured in the June In Style. Why you might ask? Well mostly because the bookshelf featured above was inspired by the shelves at Equator Books, which has become home to my new favorite cafe! I admire the books (and bookshelves) as I wait for my coffee and constantly think to myself wouldn't it be great to have a library full of books...with a ladder and all! Take a look at the rest of Olivia Wilde's cozy Venice home! I love her bohemian style and the space is filled with so much character!
