Rum Magazine

Hope you all had a great weekend! I am feeling so refreshed after the most peaceful day I've had in who knows how long! I slept in, the windows open with a cool breeze blowing in, went to Farmers Market, relaxed and read a book on the beach, took a nap, and went rollerblading on the boardwalk into the sunset. As I sit here listening to Tegan and Sara and scrolling through Rum Magazine site, the only thing that would make it better is if I was curled up on the couch with...i guess the Rum Magazine in my hand;-) Here's a bit of the deliciousness I'm taking in right now!

Matching Mid-Century Side Tables

As part of the design of the boy's bedroom we've been working on (see next post) we had to get rid of these two adorable nightstands that I custom designed a couple years ago on round one of the boys' bedroom designs:-( Each of the boys had one...one bright orange and one bright yellow...well no more! We had the originals for sale at the Designer Tag Sale in OC, but after a lot of love, but no buyer, my friend Hilary at Pink Pianos painted them this beautiful gray color and applied eieio paper to the drawer fronts that she had left over from Jenna's Desk...you guys probably remember that post. I love they way they turned out!

Some Organic Love!

I am working on a lobby remodel in Santa Monica and am loving these organic elements for the space as well as the bold colors mixed with the sharp contrasts of black and white! What fabulous coffee tables, stools, and ottomans in these images!

The artwork is a little scary, but how great is the size and the contrast with the space!

AMAZING FINDS @ OFFICE MOVING SALE

The lease is up and the funky finds in this creative office must go. Most of them are brand new and have never been used, while others are worn in vintage pieces with that loved a lot character. FURNITURE HOUSE LA

Just got word today that Furniture House LA is having a huge sale! They are offering 50% off everything in the store. I stopped in last year on a cold rainy day at about 2:50. Was out of there by 3:00, just as my car was about to get towed, called in my order of 2 amazing pieces for the Farmers Daughter Hotel, and had them delivered the next day first thing in the morning.
